b2ap3_thumbnail_j0400379Okay the title seems to suggest something Medieval or magical. If you consider the typical definition, you would be correct. One definition reads: “A medieval chemical philosophy having as its asserted aims the transmutation of base metals into gold.” Seems a bit farfetched, don’t you think?

On the other hand, another definition is a little more subtle. It reads: “Pertaining to the transformation of something common, usually of little value, into a substance of great worth.” To me that doesn’t sound as wild as throwing some mix of metals together to create gold. In fact, I think that definition has some exciting potential for you.

Here’s why I say that. It relates to what you could do to assure powerful, positive outcomes throughout your life. If you took an alchemical approach to your life, it would mean you are doing the little things each and every day to create a life of great worth.

Here’s some things you can do to take an alchemical approach to life:

  1. Think abundance not selfishness. As they say, the more you give the more you get.
  2. Use the alchemical power in your mind. You can choose to make the little decisions that lead to big results.
  3. Be little of ego and big of heart.
  4. Try to avoid the little hurts to other people that make them big subtractors from your potential value.
  5. Remember the person of least perceived value is still always a human being of great worth.

Hopefully you don’t see these thoughts as of little value but, rather, of substance and great worth.
