Clear Vision

Fuzzy isn’t good when it comes to the vision you have for your life.  Life can be vague at times, there’s no doubt, but that’s because of the things you can’t control.  The way you deal with those vagaries of life is directly related to the clarity of your vision of the life you want to lead.

When things happen in your life that are out of your control don’t be sucked into a whirlwind of doubt and confusion.  Rather, use the true north of your clear vision to reset your course toward that vision.  On the other hand, if you have no vision, you have no compass point to lock onto for direction in overcoming your unexpected challenges.

Here’s what you should consider when creating your own clear vision statement.  First, recognize that a vision statement should clearly define your destination at some point in the future.  You have to be brutally succinct in writing your vision statement.  You should be able to boil your vision of your ultimate destination down to two or three sentences at most.

An example for you:  By clearly defining my goals and acting on the necessary steps to those goals over my lifetime, I will achieve peace of mind regarding my personal relationships, spiritual well-being, physical well-being, financial stability and a rewarding career path.

A clear vision helps you arrive at your desired destination in life.  What more could you really ask for?
