Fail to Succeed

b2ap3_thumbnail_j0387266Now who would want that!  Let’s face it most of us want to succeed in life not fail!  Where’s the fun in failing?  Sounds like a miserable circumstance…fail…or failure!

Well, over the years in many of the blog posts I’ve written a lot has been said about the importance of being willing to fail as you strive for success.  Or, in short, fail to succeed.

That said, there are some folks out there in the great, big, wide world who have also expressed, in their own words that you must fail to succeed.

  • “I failed my way to success.”—Thomas Edison

  • “Every failure brings with it the seed of an equivalent success.” –Napoleon Hill

  • “Never let the fear of striking out get in your way.”—George Herman “Babe” Ruth

  • “Only those who dare to fail greatly can achieve greatly.”—Robert F. Kennedy

  • “I’d rather attempt to do something great and fail than attempt to do nothing and succeed.”—Robert H. Schuller

  • “In order to succeed you must fail, so that you know what not to do the next time.”—Anthony J. D’Angelo

  • “It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed.”—Theodore Roosevelt

  • “Think like a queen.A queen is not afraid to fail.  Failure is another steppingstone to greatness.”—Oprah Winfrey

  • “Those who dare to fail miserably can achieve greatly.”—John F. Kennedy

  • “You can’t be afraid to fail. It’s the only way you succeed—you’re not gonna succeed all the time, and I know that.”—LeBron James

My hope is the thoughts in this post won’t fail to help you succeed.
