Failure Can Be Forgiven

b2ap3_thumbnail_00422409I’m not sure there is a worse feeling.  It’s a feeling that slams into your gut and almost gives you a sense of not being able to breathe.  Everything seems to stop as you tumble into a pit of embarrassment and loss.  You say to yourself, It’s over…I’ve failed!

Okay!  So?  Everybody fails many times in their life.  Failure is as much a part of life as is succeeding!  The difference between total failure and success is not in the acceptance of failure.  To achieve the most you can in your life you must be willing to accept failure.  The fact is every time you fail you truly are one step closer to achieving that which you desire.

Here’s the key, however.  Acceptance of failure is the realization it’s going to happen.  But, accepting not continuing to try, in effect, stops the world and kicks you off.  Not continuing to try even in the face of failure is the only true failure.  There is no recovery when you stop trying.

In other words, failure can be forgiven every time when you continue to try.  Try and remember that as you repeatedly fail!
