How Being in a Rut Can Be an Awesome Thing

A lot has been said about the word, rut, over the years.  Most of the tone surrounding the mention of the word is usually very disparaging.  That could be a mistake, if you are not more discerning.

Here are a few choice quotes to make you feel as if a rut is absolutely a bad thing:

A rut is a grave with no ends. –Adam Lampkin

The difference between a grave and a rut are the dimensions.—Dale Carnegie

You’ve got to try and take things to the next level, or you’ll just get stuck in a rut.—Ozzy Osbourne

It’s hotter than a snake’s ass in a wagon rut.—Robin Williams

See what I mean by disparaging?

One more quote, though, as a transition to the point the following video makes about why a certain rut can be an awesome thing.

To succeed, find the right rut and stay with it.—Mason Cooley

What is a great idea you want to repetitively act on so you can make meaningful progress in your life?
