How Long Has It Been?

I’m always amazed at the number of people who very obviously don’t get enough physical exercise.  It’s like they don’t think of their body as a temple but a junk yard.  To them it’s a great place to get rid of copious amounts of garbage food and then wonder why they are so lethargic and mentally slow.  Well, to them I say, HELLO!

Life has gotten so generally easy for a very large percentage of us.  Truth be known you can “find an app” for how to avoid the least amount of exercise through any number of newfangled devises to make your life easier.  Hell, in many toilets around the world you don’t even have to bend over and flush the thing anymore.  It’s automatic…it’s done for you!  There’s one more opportunity gone to move the body in just a little way to give it some exercise!

Forgive my obvious frustration but may I suggest you get off your _ _ _!  Exercise of the body and mind is critical to a long and more healthy life.  How long has it been said?   Well, here’s one clue to the answer.  “Lack of activity destroys the good condition of every human being, while movement and methodical physical exercise save it and preserve it.”  – Plato

There’s how long has it been.  Now, how long are you going to wait to get started with an exercise program?
