How’s That?

b2ap3_thumbnail_j0400379_20121129-220257_1Interesting phrase:  How’s that?  It can be used in so many different ways.  One way would be in the context of seeking understanding.  You might say it when someone says something you didn’t quite hear, for instance.  Or, another situation where it could be used is when you don’t understand the context in which something happened or how something works.  Another example is when you’ve accomplished something particularly well and you want reinforcement from the people around you.  In that case you would enthusiastically ask the question with the expectation that all around you would affirm the good work.

At this point, you might be asking yourself something like “how’s that” going to help me with whatever my purpose is in reading this blog.  Well, here’s how!

Life is a series of discoveries and the more you discover the more you grow.  The more you grow the more you gain.  Discovery should be a never ending experience throughout your life.  You can never know enough or too much.  There’s so much opportunity in life that is just waiting to be discovered by you!  Discovered opportunity is the seed of enthusiasm; enthusiasm is the seed of action; action is the seed of results.

Interestingly, the seed of discovery is your attitude of willingness to ask:  How’s that?
