Keep The Faith

Where are you in your trek through life?  Are you where you want to be?  If you’re not where you want to be, what will it take to get there?  When will you start doing what it will take?  If you’ve invested the time to answer these four questions for yourself, you’re on solid footing for a very rewarding future.  If you haven’t taken that time, then there’s little hope you will get where you want to go by the time you want to get there.

But, this post isn’t about hope!  It’s about faith.  More specifically, it is about the depth of faith in yourself that you need to achieve anything you want.  Anything you want?  Hmmm.  That’s sounds unrealistic, right?  Wrong!  With a deep, abiding faith in yourself, anything is literally possible.  It’s just a matter of time and effort.

You might be asking, Why is that true?  Tell me more.  Well, let’s put it in the context that Voltaire once did.  For those of you who don’t know, Voltaire was one of France’s greatest writers and philosophers.  On the subject of faith he said:  “Faith consists in believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe.  It is not enough that a thing be possible for it to be believed.”

Thus, it is not enough for you to just believe it is possible that something you want can be achieved.  If you truly want it, you have to have the faith that you will get it even if it seems to be impossibly out of reach.  Your greatest limitation is your capacity to have faith that the impossible can be made possible.

Keep the faith and all things are truly possible!
