Mirror, Mirror…

b2ap3_thumbnail_00442449_20130530-183022_1What’s the full line from the fairytale, Snow White?  I think it’s something like, “Mirror, mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all?”  Additionally, I think it was the queen who was asking the question.  As I recall she was a little insecure.

My question to you is, do you constantly ask similar questions of yourself whether you look in the mirror or not?  As you may know, some people have a tough time looking at themselves in the mirror and that is primarily why I phrased the preceding question as I did.  My point is, if you are constantly questioning yourself in a similar way as the queen in Snow White, you are taking away from the image you project…mirror or no mirror.

People don’t want to feel your insecurities.  They want to know they are in the presence of someone who is comfortable in their own skin.  Trust me…they can feel it when you feel you have to ask the queen’s question all the time.

Self-confidence is projected from your core.  It’s not a façade characteristic.  It abides deep within you.  When it does, then and only then, can you face the mirror of the rest of the world without question.

To find your own sense of self-confidence, focus your thinking on your unique strengths.  We all have them…so do you!  Pay more attention on a daily basis to finding and believing in them then seeing only the reflection of your weaknesses in the mirror.

“Mirror, mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all?”  You or anyone else who believes they are!
