Think About It

I try very hard to offer original thoughts with each of my blog posts.  In my opinion, there are plenty of internet sites offering quotes of the quotable, so to speak.

However, I recently stumbled on a thought by Carl Jung, the renowned Swiss Psychiatrist.  It is a thought so potentially powerful in helping you recognize the natural balance between the good times and the not so good times of your life that I decided to include it in this post.

“There are as many nights as days, and the one is just as long as the other in the year’s course. Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word ‘happy’ would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.”

So, when the inevitable sadness visits you and your life, accept it for what it is and reflect on what you learned.  Apply what you learned to your future endeavours and it is inevitable that happier times will return.

Just think about it, at least!
