Winning Act

You are what you do.  It’s as simple and complex as that.  If you want to keep winning in life you have to act.  and as Aristotle is reputed to have said:  “We are what we repeatedly do.  Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.”

The complex part of living that philosophy is in determining the right habits and than disciplining yourself to practice them consistently.  Easier said then done but absolutely necessary, if your act in life is going to be a winning one.

Depending on what self-improvement guru you follow, the act of establishing a new practice into a consistent habit takes anywhere from 3 to 4 weeks.  A complex chore to be sure but a simple and consistently proven concept.  In other words, it’s a proven winner of an act!

A truly winning act begins with having a clear purpose and passion for doing what it takes to bring the script to life.  Without a passionate desire to achieve what it is you say you want, your act will have a very short run.  Your dream will be tossed into the darkest corner of the stage of life and never see the footlights again.

Act…repeatedly…and the footlights of excellence will shine upon you.  Looks like a winner to me!
