You Can Get to Where You Want to Go by Being More Aware

b2ap3_thumbnail_j0178398_20140206-190636_1I recently ran into a term of which I don’t recall being previously aware.  It was a by chance encounter as I was doing some reading.  Frankly, I feel a little insecure admitting that I don’t recollect the term to which I refer.  I’m particularly struck by my ignorance because I read so much and consider myself well informed.  Well, chalk one up to my having confirmed I’m not perfect!

Anyway, the term to which I refer is “conscious evolution.”  As I said, I don’t know why I’ve missed it before but it definitely is a great concept of which to be aware.  The definition behind conscious evolution directly relates to the title to this post.  In its simplest terms conscious evolution means, for our purposes here, being aware of the intentional governance of personal change.  On a broader level the term relates to everybody in the human race taking individual responsibility for human progress.

There are any number of books and articles explaining conscious evolution in detail.  Google the term and you will see what I mean.  I did and got 8,320,000 results!  Knock yourself out if you feel you need more information on the subject.

However, all that is really important about the concept for you is to recognize that if you practice it, you will have a clearer direction to where you want to go with your life.  Rather than bouncing from pillar to post in an effort toward making progress in your life be more conscious of evolving it step-by-step.  Take the moral and ethical responsibility to own your progress throughout your life.  If you do that, you will be benefiting from your own conscious evolution.

Let’s face it…science has confirmed that evolution is constantly going on all around us.  We may not be immediately conscious of it but nature is consciously making it happen.  Get on the bandwagon and create your own conscious evolution toward a successful life well lived!
